Shocking! Popular Bhojpuri actress found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bhagalpur

Popular Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey aka Annapurna was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her apartment in Bhagalpur in Bihar. 

According to a report in Amar Ujal, Amrita Pandey was found hanging from a ceiling fan. Her family members found her hanging with a saree at Divya Dham apartment in Adampur areas. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. 

Shockingly, the actress had shared a cryptic note on her WhatsApp status just a few hours before her death.

“Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya (His life was on two boats, so I made his path easier by sinking my boat),” read her social media post.

The actress was married to Chandramani Jhangad, a resident of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The couple lived in Mumbai and had come to Bhagalpur to attend her elder sister Veena Pandey’s wedding. After the wedding festivities, Chandramani returned to Mumbai while Amrita stayed back with her family.

Reports suggest that the actress was in depression since the last couple of months. Amrita Pandey has worked with Bhojpuri top A-listers including Khesari Lal Yadav. 

Jogsar police is currently investigating the case.
