Popular adult film star Sophia Leone was found dead at her apartment in the US at the age of 26. The actress was found ‘unresponsive’ in her apartment. Her modeling agency, 101 Modeling, also confirmed the news. Shockingly, she didn’t die of suicide, and her death was due to suspected ‘home invasion homicide’. 

Leone’s death came to the fore after her parents sought funds for her memorial on ‘GoFundMe’.

“On behalf of her mother and family, it is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia’s blessing,” said her stepfather Mike Romero.

“The sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock. On top of the difficult process of grieving and seeking justice for Sophia, the family is also facing the financial burden that they were not prepared for,” Romero added.

He also said that an investigation by the local police into the cause of her death is still going on.

Her modeling agency also released a statement and said, “A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you. A gofundme has been started for her family.”

Sophia who entered the adult film industry at the age of 18 was a very popular face. Born on June 10, 1997, in Miami in the US, and was said to have a net worth of $1 million. Her death is the fourth untimely demise in the adult film industry this year after Kagney Linn Karter, Jesse Jane, and Thaina Fields.
