Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in 'Brahmastra'
‘Animal’ actor and Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor recently shared insights into his relationship with his wife-actor Alia Bhatt, highlighting the significant behavioural changes she made for him. Speaking to Nikhil Kamath for a podcast, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that Alia adjusted her speaking tone. She used to be ‘loud’ because of my father’s tone, growing up, which always rattled me. So she made efforts to change that. And that’s not easy.
Ranbir's statement has not gone too well with some fans who criticised the actor on social media. Fans called him to allow Alia to be herself without any force to change her personality. However, Ranbir maintained that sacrifices were necessary in marriage and he was also working hard to never let down Alia and their daughter Raha.
“She changed more for me than I have changed for her. I am acknowledging it but I should do something about it,” Kapoor revealed.
Ranbir also revealed how Alia was his best friend and his pillar of strength.

“My wife is a very successful owner of a childrenwear brand. The fact that she chose to do something like this, the way she worked hard for it, is commendable. She is a marketing genius. She is amazing!” pic.twitter.com/4P7cJdjMZj
“She is my best friend. I am very lucky in that. I love going on a holiday with her, but I love coming home with her also. She listens to me & makes me smile. She makes an effort. It is not easy & it’s very rare,” Ranbir said.
Ranbir further stated, “My wife is a very successful owner of a childrenwear brand. The fact that she chose to do something like this, the way she worked hard for it, is commendable. She is a marketing genius. She is amazing!”
“There is a lot of female energy around me. Alia gets along with mom really well & they are more honest with each other than I was with mom. So I’m surrounded by Alia, my mom, Raha, my sis Riddhima, her daughter-they are best women in the world,” he concluded.
