Shark Tank India is the latest interesting show on Sony Television that offers help to budding entrepreneurs to build a business if they manage to impress and convince the Sharks about their product or concept.

In the last couple of weeks since the show started, many young entrepreneurs have benefitted from the guidance and investment of the established entrepreneurs who are leading Shark Tank India.

Shark Tank India Judges

The show based on American version by the same name is led by Ashneer Grover-the co-founder and Managing Director of BharatPe, Anupam Mittal- CEO and Co-founder of People Group, Aman Gupta-Co-founder and CMO of boAt, Vineeta Singh- Co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, Namita Thapar-Executive Director at Emcure Pharma, Ghazal Alagh-Co-founder and CIO of Mamaearth, Peyush Bansal- Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com.

All these big Sharks from the Indian world of business who have inspired younger Indians to try their hand at entrepreneurship have invested in some interesting projects through Shark Tank India.

Entrepreneurs Who Received Nod From Sharks

Aditi Madan from BluePine Foods introduced her Momos to the Sharks and even told everyone that she is famous as Momo mami. She originally asked for Rs 50 lakhs for 5% equity but later on settled with 15% equity with an investment of Rs 75 lakhs from Vineeta, Aman and Ashneer.

Rutvij Dasadia failed to impress most of the Sharks with his Electric Scooter –Booz and originally asked for Rs 40 lakhs against 15% equity. However, he had to settle for a Rs 40 lakh investment against 50% equity from Vineeta and Ashneer.

Budding young entrepreneur Riya Khattar impressed all the Sharks with her spontaneity and enthusiasm and managed to attract an investment of Rs 25 lakh against 30% equity from Anupam and Vineeta for her Heart Up My Sleeves venture.

From Anish and Sagar (Popped Chips) to Siddhant Tawarawala (Peeschute), there were many who clinched big deals from Shark while there were many others who failed to impress and left empty-handed.

Shark Tank India airs on Sony Television every weekday from Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
