Actor Sharad Kelkar has confirmed that he will not be part of the upcoming season of The Family Man. The web series revolving around the life of Manoj Bajpayee who plays a spy is set to return for its third season. Kelkar, who portrayed Arvind, dispelled rumours about his involvement in the new season.

‘The Family Man,’ created by Raj & DK, has been praised for its gripping storyline and stellar performances. Season 3 will focus on a narrative intertwining national security threats. Filming for the new season began recently and is expected to premiere in 2025.

In an interview with IndiaToday.in Sharad told, "I have not been tagged in the announcement post, so I might not be in the show. I don't know anything about it. I don't have any news of it as well. In fact, I read the announcement, but nobody informed me. So, I don't have any clue. But I think it will be bigger and better than 'The Family Man Season 2'."

When informed about the audience's expectation of him to bring some 'kalesh' (problems) to the life of Family Man Srikant (Bajpayee), Sharad said, "They will find some other Kaleshi guy. Frankly, I don't know what they have written. I didn't have any meetings or communications with them, so I don't know if my role is there or written. If it is written, then I'll be there; otherwise, you guys, miss me. I never tease, I never lie, so what I am saying is true."

‘The Family Man’ Season 3 is currently in production. The show will bring back many of the original cast members, including Priyamani (Suchitra Tiwari), Sharib Hashmi (JK Talpade), Ashlesha Thakur (Dhriti Tiwari), and Vedant Sinha (Atharv Tiwari), among others.
