Shanaya Kapoor sparks buzz about possible film with Ranveer Singh after candid reveal

Shanaya Kapoor is gearing up for her grand debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey. While her debut is already generating buzz, Shanaya has also sparked fresh excitement by hinting at a possible film with none other than Ranveer Singh.

Possible Collaboration with Ranveer Singh?

In a recent interview with Elle, Shanaya shared her fangirl moment on the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, where she met Ranveer Singh. Reflecting on the experience, she said,

“Yes, I have. Unfortunately, it was not my set. Very sad about that. It was Rocky Aur Rani’s set where I met Ranveer Singh. But, you guys never know, I might be doing a film and I’ll be on my set.”

Her coy response has led fans to speculate about an upcoming collaboration between the two actors.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan: Shanaya’s Debut

Shanaya's debut film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, is a romantic drama starring her opposite Vikrant Massey. Directed by Santosh Singh and jointly produced by Zee Studios and Mini Films, the movie is set for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025. Shanaya recently attended the first look reveal at a popular award show, marking her official entry into Bollywood.

Upcoming Projects: Tu Yaa Main and JC

Shanaya is also set to appear in Tu Yaa Main, a quirky thriller co-starring Adarsh Gourav. The film’s announcement video features Adarsh as a YouTuber who stumbles upon Shanaya's character, a more famous influencer. What starts as a light-hearted meeting quickly turns terrifying as a crocodile attack changes everything.

Tu Yaa Main is scheduled for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release.
