Shahid Kapoor was insulted on Padmaavat sets? Alleged crew member's claims go viral
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming action thriller Deva and is currently busy in promotions. Recently, Shahid hogged the headlines after he opened up about being made to feel lesser until Kabir Singh. Though he didn't mention any director, actor or movie, fans referred to old reports in 2018 when the cold war between Shahid and Ranveer Singh during the shooting of Padmaavat made headlines. However, recently a claim made by an alleged crew member of Padmaavat has taken the internet by storm.
Notably, Shahid Kapoor worked in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, also starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Shahid and Ranveer shared the screen space for the first time and earlier reports suggested that the actors couldn't see eye to eye. This created a tensed atmosphere on the set and caused challenges for a seamless shoot. A clip of Shahid from his recent unfiltered chat on Raj Shamani's podcast went wildly viral. The actor admitted that he felt like an 'outsider' during filming Padmaavat.

Now, a comment shared by a netizen claiming to be a crew member of Padmaavat has taken the internet by storm.
The user named Narendra Kulkarni claimed, “True man really, i was working on padmavat, ranveer was on there peak time, and Shahid was in down time, ranveer avoiding secondary shots, dup was, dup was taking care those shots, and Shahid, giving all the shots, if he said something, director was not listening and he insults shahid. Time matters.”

However, the authenticity of the user and the claims made by him couldn't be verified. Only the makers of Padmaavat or the cast of the movie can confirm it.
Shahid Kapoor is all set for his upcoming Deva, also starring Pooja Hegde. The action thriller is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 31, 2025.
