Shahid Kapoor, Vishal Bhardwaj to collaborate again for an action thriller? Here’s what we know so far

After their successful collaborations on Kaminey and Haider, Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are set to reunite for another project. 

According to reports from Pinkvilla, the duo is joining forces for an action-packed thriller, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This untitled film marks Vishal Bhardwaj's first foray into the extensive action genre, a departure from his usual critically acclaimed dramas.

Sources reveal that Shahid Kapoor will play the lead in this high-octane film. The mission-based thriller will be a large-scale production, with Nadiadwala aiming to create a visually stunning spectacle. Shahid was reportedly impressed by the script, which deviates from Bhardwaj's traditional dramatic style.

The film is expected to begin production between September and October 2024, with shooting planned across locations in India and the United States.

Despite the excitement surrounding the project, there is no official confirmation yet from the makers or Shahid.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the hit film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Kriti Sanon. He is currently gearing up for his next release, Devaa, which is scheduled to premiere on Valentine's Day weekend.
