Shahid Kapoor looks deadly as ‘Deva’ in new poster, all set to rock theaters on Valentine’s Day

The evergreen chocolate boy of Bollywood and versatile actor Shahid Kapoor is all set to rock the big screen and how! The ‘Kabir Singh fame actor is all set to make Valentine’s Day a violent day with his new movie ‘Deva’.

Playing a police officer, Shahid looks deadly and furious in a new poster that was released today. Taking to his Instagram handle, the ‘Kaminey’ actor shared the new poster and announced the release of his film.

Sharing the new poster, he wrote, “Get ready for a VIOLENT VALENTINE’S DAY. DEVA releasing in theaters on 14th Feb 2025!” In the poster, he can be seen flaunting his short hairdo with a gun. He completed his look with sunglasses that reminded fans of ‘Kabir Singh’.

After the stupendous success of 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' and 'Kabir Singh, Deva will be Shahid Kapoor's return to the big screen. Despite being a talented actor, Shahid hasn’t tasted much success with not even a single movie in Rs 100 crore club.

However, he directly jumped into the Rs 300 crore club with Kabir Singh and Padmaavat. With the poster looking promising, Shahid fans are expecting Deva to change his fortune and turn out to be a blockbuster in his career.

His last web series ‘Farzi’ was also a huge hit on OTT and earned his numerous accolades for his portrayal of Sunny. This will be the first time that Shahid will be seen in a full-fledged cop avatar and in action mode.

Directed by Malayalam director Rosshan Andrews, the movie pairs south siren Pooja Hegde for the first time with Shahid Kapoor. He was earlier, paired opposite Raashii Khanna in ‘Farzi’ and it worked in his favour.
