Team India’s loss to Australia at the World Cup 2023 Final has left the dreams of 1.40 billion Indians shattered. Despite being in red-hot form, the Men in Blue suffered a 6-wicket loss to the Aussies.

Heartbroken fans now have to wait longer to see India lift the Trophy. While a section of fans slammed the players for a weak approach towards Australia, many others including celebrities have come out in support of the Blue Army.

Even superstar Shah Rukh Khan who was one among the many celebrities to watch the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium shared a heartfelt message for the Rohit Sharma Army to uplift their spirits.

Taking to his social media handle, SRK wrote, “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two.”

“Unfortunately, it happened today… but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket… u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and Respect. You make us one Proud Nation,” he added.

Besides SRK, celebs like Ranveer Singh, Suniel Shetty and Kareena Kapoor also gave loud shout to Team India for their stupendous performance throughout the tournament.

Ranveer Singh wrote, “Some highs, some lows. Some good days, some bad days, some wins, some loses. That’s sport, that’s life. We are all gutted, but let’s applaud our boys for giving it their all.”

Similarly, Kareena wrote, “Team India tuff battle but well played. Only Love and Respect.”

On the other hand, KL Rahul’s wife and actress Athiya Shetty was spotted cheering for the team along with Virat Kohli’s wife and actress Anushka Sharma. The ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ actress was also spotted hugging Kohli and pacifying him after the heartbreaking loss.
