Shah Rukh Khan finally opens up on Nayanthara being upset for being ‘sidelined’ in Jawan

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan who is riding high on the success of his blockbuster movie ‘Jawan’ finally opened up on Nayanthara being upset and sidelined in the film.

Recently, reports were rife that Nayanthara was upset with SRK and director Atlee as her character as Narmada was ‘sidelined’ and more importance was given to Deepika Padukone. The reports stated that the lady superstar’s screen time was also chopped off while Deepika’s cameo was elevated.

The film was made to look possibly as SRK-Deepika movie. This hasn’t gone well with Nayanthara who reportedly has decided to quit Bollywood. However, there has been no confirmation in this regard.

Amidst this, superstar Shah Rukh Khan himself has finally opened up on the controversy and said that it was unfortunate after a fan tweeted about it.

Taking to X (Twitter) a fan wrote, “Loved Azad’s bond with Suji… the single mom storyline was so subtly done and really refreshing. Thank you for representing women from all walks of life. Love you Shah @imsrk #AskSRK #Jawan.”

Replying to the fan, SRK wrote, “I also felt that the story of Narmada as a single mom was amazing. Unfortunately in the scheme of things couldn’t find more screen time but as is was also wonderful. #Jawan.”

On the other hand, Nayanthara has shut down the rumours of being upset with director Atlee after she shared a heartfelt birthday message for him on his birthday. Taking to her Instagram stories, Nayanthara shared that she was very proud of his achievements.

This modest act by the actress has put to rest any speculations of discord between them.
