  • Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara's movie with Atlee is reportedly inspired by Happy New Year.
  • Netizens have slammed the plot calling it a mix-up of all different hit movies.

Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback in Bollywood after a gap of few years. He took a break after most of his movies including Fan, Zero flopped back to back. Now he is returning with YRF’s Pathan opposite Deepika Padukone and Atlee’s next with Nayanthara which is the Bollywood debut movie for the Southern superstar. Shah Rukh Khan wishes to make a comeback with a bang and reclaim his superstardom at the box office which he ruled for decades.

But many people believe that his dreams may not come true. At least his venture with Atlee may not rise to the expectations of his fans. According to reports, the story of this SRK movie revolves around revenge in which the superstar will gather a team of women which will include Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra, and together they will plan to rob something precious and untouchable.

The story is similar to what fans saw in Farah Khan helmed Happy New Year which starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead and Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood in supporting roles. The moment the plot for this movie leaked out netizens started predicting that it is bound to be a big disaster.

It seems fans are expecting something different from their favorite superstars but what they are getting is a repeated story or a mix of several successful plots made into one. The movie is very important for both SRK and Nayanthara. For Shah Rukh Khan it is important that this movie succeeds in impressing the audience if he wants to retain his image of a successful Bollywood star. On the other hand, for Nayanthara, its success will decide whether she will get big offers from B-town or not.

While the story might seem to be repetitive it is the treatment and presentation by the director that makes all the difference. Atlee is known for his fantastic movies and that is one reason SRK gave a nod to this project.
