  • However, Kajol's silence on SRK's birthday has broken hearts of many. While many colleagues of SRK didn't wish him on social media, fans of the Badshah didn't miss to throng at his residence Mannat.

Bollywood's Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on November 2 turned 56 years old. Unlike every year, SRK didn't celebrate his birthday in a grand way due to his son Aryan Khan's arrest in a drug case. Even, many Bollywood biggies refrained themselves from wishing the King Khan reportedly due to the incident.

However, SRK's old friend Salman Khan was among the one who wished him on his birthday. Salman shared a pic in which the duo is seen together and he captioned the post: "Aaj apne bhai ka birthday hai. Happy birthday mere bhai .. @iamsrk." Even his Kal Ho Na Ho and Veer Zaara co-star Priety Zinta wished the Badshah actor on his special day.

However, what shocked the fans was Kajol's silence. Kajol is known to be very close to SRK as they have worked in several blockbuster movies together. The onscreen romance of the duo still leaves fans in awe. Even, the off-screen relationship of the duo is taken on a serious note by all. But, Kajol not wishing his co-star was shocking for many.

When asked by a fan about not wishing Shah, Kajol's reply stunned everyone. A fan asked the DDLJ actress why she didn't wish SRK over which Kajol replied, "What more can I wish him? All his wishes came true when his son came back home."

It is pertinent to mention that Kajol was among several other actors who preferred to remain silent during the entire duration of Aryan's case.

Rumours are abuzz that apart from Aryan's case, cold war between Khan and Ajay pushed Kajol to remain silent. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.

October 20 is celebrated as a historical date of Indian cinema as it marks the release date of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ). This year, DDLJ completed a glorious 26 years and Kajol took to social media to celebrate the memorable moment.

"Simran caught the train 26 years back and we are still thanking everyone for all this love .. #26YearsOfDDLJ": she captioned a video that showed a glance of the iconic climax scene of DDLJ in which Simran (Kajol) is running towards Raj (Shah Rukh) to catch the moving train. Veteran actor Amrish Puri, who was playing the character of Simran's father, punch line- "Ja Simran Ja... Jee lee apni Zindagi" still gives goose bumps to all even after 26 years.

However, Kajol's silence on SRK's birthday has broken hearts of many. While many colleagues of SRK didn't wish him on social media, fans of the Badshah didn't miss to throng at his residence Mannat.

Hundreds of fans gathered at his residence to catch a glimpse of their matinee idol. Even reports were out that many of the admirers were waiting from the night, a day before his birthday.

SRK even sent biscuits and water bottles to the fans who were waiting for hours to get a glance of the Superstar.
