Amid allegations of foul play in the sudden demise of veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik, the late actor’s nephew Nishant Kaushik has recently shared the filmmaker’s unfulfilled wishes, future plans and aspirations.

Revealing the unfulfilled wishes of the late actor, Nishant said, “He (Satish) wanted to take his production house to a higher level. He wanted to make it a big studio.”

While speaking to a news portal ETimes, Nishant said Satish was editing the sequel to his biographical comedy film Kaagaz and now he will finish the pending post production work of Kaagaz 2.

Further, Nishant revealed that he lit the pyre at Satish’s funeral and his ashes were submerged in Haridwar.

“I would take Anupam Kher and Boney Kapoor's help in future, They both are family to us. Yes, why wouldn't I approach them if the need be,” Nishant was quoted as saying.

Notably, the actor-director died on March 9 following a cardiac arrest. On March 8, he attended Holi party and shared pictures of the Holi bash. He even posed for the media.

Born in Haryana, Kaushik was an alumnus of the NSD and the FTII, and started his film career in the early 1980s.

He penned the dialogues for the 1983 classic "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron", which acquired a cult following over the years.
