Sartik update: From Sara Ali Khan eager to work with Kartik Aaryan to Koki leaving Aashiqui 3

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan continue to be one of the most loved couples of the current lot. Despite the two parting ways a couple of years ago, their chemistry on the screen continues to enchant Sartik fans who dearly want them to do one more project together. Their hopes have increased after both of them were spotted at the same spot a few months ago.

During one of the interviews on a leading online media portal, Sara Ali Khan said that she would love to team up with her Love Aaj Kal co-star but she has not been approached for any movie project opposite him. There were rumours that Sara’s name was being considered as the lead female for Aashiqui 3. However, the Kedarnath actress denied being approached for it and seemed very much positive about working with her former boyfriend.

Aaryan has been roped in to play the lead role in Aashiqui 3. A few days ago, there were rumours that Koki has decided to leave the movie. However, now it has been confirmed that all these rumours are fake and that the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress is very much on board for Aashiqui 3 and will start shooting for the same in December this year.

The first movie from the Aashiqui franchise directed by Mahesh Bhatt introduced two newcomers-Rahul Roy and Anu Agrawal in the movies and its songs were big hits. The movie was also loved by the young audience during the 90s. The second film from the franchise starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur also had some hit songs and launched the career of the Stree actress in a big way.

While the name of the female lead for this third movie from the Aashiqui franchise is yet to be announced fans are eagerly hoping that Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan reunite on the screen as the lead romantic pair for Aashiqui 3.
