Sara Ali Khan turns a year older today. Unlike many other star kids like Alia Bhatt, who came into films early when they were in their teens, the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh first completed her graduation from Columbia University, even though a career in movies was always what she wanted for herself.
In her journey of more than three years in Bollywood, she has done several movies and played different characters as well as matured as an actress and a person. Even then, she continues to have a fear, an obsession, and more importantly a few dreams as an actress.
Sara Ali Khan’s biggest fear
Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan were brought up single-handedly by their mother Amrita Singh and that is why she is very close to Dingy. Her mother is her strength and her biggest weakness as well. According to the Kedarnath actress, her biggest fear in life is not getting immediate access to her mother on whom she relies so much for everything.
Dream role with Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Just like all other actresses, Sara has a dream of being roped in as the female lead in a period drama helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has earlier given some epic period movies like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
Sara’s obsession
The beautiful actress is very particular about her nails and looks and is somewhat obsessed with nail paint. Once the Bollywood star revealed that during the shooting of Kedarnath she changed the nail paint for almost every shot.
Fitness inspiration for mother
Sara struggled with PCOD in her younger days and weighed 96 kilos. With proper workouts and diet discipline, she lost her extra kilos; that is how her dream of becoming a Bollywood actress materialized. However, she went a step ahead and encouraged her mother to make changes in her routine and lifestyle and live a fitter life which is why Amrita now looks much leaner and fitter after gaining a lot of weight during her middle age.
Sara created havoc with Fevicol in school
In one of her interviews, Sara spilt beans on why she was almost suspended from her school once. The Coolie No. 1 actress revealed that once she threw Fevicol on the fan of the school and somehow the bottle broke. As a result, there was Fevicol everywhere.
