Sara Ali Khan had auditioned for Tripti Dimri’s role in Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga rejected her

Can you imagine anyone else in Tripti Dimri’s role as Zoya in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’? Well, if reports are to be believed, the gorgeous Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for the role of Zoya.

Dimri has been getting a lot of love for her role as Zoya in the film. Her natural beauty, cuteness, and innocent looks have captured the hearts of millions of fans. Apart from her acting skills, Dimri has also been the talk of the town for her intimate scene with Ranbir Kapoor in the film.

However, fans are in love with her and found a ‘national crush’ in her. However, did you know that Sara Ali Khan also wanted to be part of Animal and had auditioned for the role of Zoya.

If reports are to be believed, Sara had read the script and loved it. She was eager to be part of the film and had even auditioned for it. However, the film’s director Vanga thought she wasn’t the right choice to play such a bold character after watching her audition.

Finally, Vanga selected Dimri who aced her performance as Zoya. Fans now cannot wait to see more of her in the sequel Animal Park.

Moreover, the role of Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the role of Geetanjali, Ranbir’s wife in the movie was also offered to actress Parineeti Chopra initially. However, Parineeti instead opted for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Chamkila’ over Animal.

On the other hand, actor Ranveer Singh was the first choice for Animal for Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, Ranveer also turned it down thus the role landing in favour of Ranbir Kapoor who has now turned into a national heartthrob as the movie is shattering all the box office records.

The action drama film has already breached the Rs 500-crore mark and is giving tough competition to Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan.
