Sanjay Dutt or Abhishek Bachchan: Vanga in talks with Bollywood biggies for lead antagonist in Prabhas' Spirit?

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is now gearing up for his upcoming project with Prabhas titled Spirit. Fans have great expectations from this movie as all his movies including Kabir Singh and Animal have been blockbusters. Now that he is doing a movie with none other than Baahubali star Prabhas people have very high expectations from Spirit.

His last movie Animal gave a major boost to the stardom of Ranbir Kapoor who played the lead role of Ranvijay. But it was a sort of a revival of career for Bobby Deol who portrayed the lead antagonist in Animal. The career of the Gupt actor has suddenly got a big momentum with this success and is now being offered many big projects.

So just as Ranbir Kapoor’s Ranvijay made an impact with Animal, Bobby Deol and his menacing portrayal of Abrar was the highlight of the film. It underlines the fact that similar to the lead male actor the role of the antagonist also can be a key highlight in a movie. And that is why Sandeep Reddy Vanga is now hunting for a strong actor to play the lead villain in Spirit. There is a strong buzz that either Sanjay Dutt or Abhishek Bachchan will be roped in to play this character.

The important reason why Bobby Deol’s Abrar became so famous was because it was the first time that fans saw him playing a villain in a Bollywood movie. So when it comes to Sanjay Dutt he has already played a villain in KGF 2 and Shamshera and is already playing such roles in other movies. That is why there is no novelty. But Abhishek playing the lead villain can be a game changer as no one is expecting him as the villain opposite Prabhas in Spirit.

If Vanga manages to pull this off then the hype will no doubt escalate to the next level for the film as it would be fantastic to watch Prabhas and Junior B as rivals.
