Sandeep Reddy Vanga chooses this Tamil superstar for Ranbir Kapoor’s role in Animal

Renowned director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his controversial yet commercially successful films like Arjun Reddy and Animal, recently stirred excitement when he suggested Tamil superstar Suriya for the lead role in a potential Tamil adaptation of Animal. 

As per an OTT play report, in a recent awards function held in Chennai and attended by Sandeep, the director was asked who in would be an appropriate actor if a Tamil version of the film is to be made. 

When he was asked which Tamil actor would be best suited for Ranbir’s role in the film. To this, Sandeep said Suriya, which was met with crowds cheering.

Following the box office triumph of Animal, which starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, Vanga is now gearing up for his next venture titled Spirit. Teaming up with Prabhas, the film promises to be a high-octane action thriller with Prabhas portraying the role of an upright police officer.

In a recent interview, Vanga disclosed that Spirit boasts a staggering budget exceeding Rs 300 crore. He emphasised his commitment to ensuring profitability for the producers, citing it as a primary goal for the project. Spirit, produced under the T-Series banner by Bhushan Kumar, is poised to deliver a gripping cinematic experience, blending adrenaline-pumping action with adventure.

While Vanga remains tight-lipped about further details regarding the cast and crew of Spirit, anticipation mounts as fans eagerly await the unveiling of this ambitious project.
