  • Samantha Ruth Prabhu has wrapped up the shooting for Shakuntalam.
  • Reportedly she is not happy with the way the movie has shaped up.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has multiple projects in hand. And one of the most important projects out of them all is the mythological saga Shakuntalam in which she plays the titular role of Shakuntala. The actress has repeatedly said that she loves to play mythological characters which is why Shakuntalam is very near to her heart.

However, the latest updates indicate that the Tollywood superstar is quite unhappy with the way the movie has been shaped. Rather she is not happy with the output from director Gunasekhar and that is one of the reasons why Samantha has distanced herself from promoting Shakuntalam aggressively. Even the co-producer of the film Dil Raju is not happy with the way Shakuntalam has been developed.

While the release date of the movie is yet to be announced the shooting for the film has already been completed and now the team is gearing up to promote this Telugu mythological flick aggressively on social media and other online platforms.

At present, their career of Sam is going great guns. Roles are being written especially keeping her in mind. Be it the action-thriller Yashodha or Kush with Vijay Deverakonda, the actress is getting all the praise, attention, and importance she deserves. And that is the reason Samantha is in no mood to compromise on the quality of her projects.

The BTS clips from the sets of Kushi revealed her stunning chemistry with Vijay Deverakonda and fans are eager to see both the superstars on the screen soon. Post her hot number from Pushpa: The Rise and The Family Man Season 2, Samantha is in a good position to pick up some best projects both from the Southern and Bollywood film industry.

And in such circumstances, if Shakuntalam fails to fulfill the expectations it can be a big setback for her.
