Samantha shares first post amidst Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala engagement

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared her first social media post amidst the engagement of ex-husband and actor Naga Chaitanya with actress Sobhita Dhulipala. The ‘Citadel’ actress maintained a dignified silence and did not give any direct comment on the engagement.

Instead, the stunning diva decided to celebrate the Indian Hockey Team’s remarkable bronze medal win at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. The Indian Team claimed a bronze medal after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Spain.

Instead of giving any comments on the engagement, Samantha is being hailed by fans for focusing on positivity and India’s win. She also shared an Instagram story about wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s retirement announcement with a broken heart emoji. This apart, she also shared a few stills from her various photoshoots for her upcoming web series ‘Citadel’.

Coming back to Naga and Sobhita, the two exchanged rings in a private ceremony at Chaitanya’s house in the presence of close family members. Shortly after the engagement, Naga’s father and veteran actor Nagarjuna shared two adorable pictures of the couple to announce the engagement.

While a section of fans are celebrating Naga’s engagement, the fans of Samantha aren’t too happy and accused the former of cheating on the ‘Eega’ actress. Speculations are rife that Naga cheated on Samantha, leading to their divorce.

However, Chaitanya fans maintained that he met Sobhita at a birthday celebration after his divorce. Sobhita was in Hyderabad for the promotion of her film ‘Major’ when she reportedly met Chaitanya at her birthday celebration.

However, both Samantha and Naga have decided to remain tight-lipped about the reason of their divorce. Meanwhile, Naga is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Thandel’ with Sai Pallavi while Samantha will be seen with Varun Dhawan in ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’.
