  • Samantha Ruth Prabhu may be signed opposite Salman Khan in the sequel of No Entry.
  • Off late Bollywood movie producers are preferring South Indian actresses over the Bollywood divas.

Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan will team up yet again for the sequel of the hit movie No Entry. Speculations are on that a big Southern actress will be playing the lead actress opposite the Dabangg star and the name of Samantha has cropped up. Samantha is already doing a movie titled Citadel with Varun Dhawan.

According to speculations, the makers are also considering Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde, and Tamannaah Bhatia for the role. But certainly, no other Bollywood actress seems to be under consideration.

And this is not shocking because off late many big producers and directors are choosing big Southern actresses for their movies giving them preference over their Bollywood counterparts. Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for a big comeback with back-to-back films after a gap of almost five years.

His movie with Atlee titled Jawaan will have Southern beauty Nayanthara in the lead. It is indeed surprising because for SRK it is an important film since most of his last few releases were back-to-back big flops. But he has shown faith in the Southern superstar instead of choosing a famous Bollywood actress.

The same goes true for Ranbir Kapoor who has two huge releases Brahmastra and Shamshera lined up for release this year. While Alia Bhatt and Vaani Kapoor are playing the lead females in these movies respectively, for his new venture he preferred the Southern beauty Rashmika Mandanna who is now highly popular among the Bollywood lovers after the huge success of Pushpa: The Rise. Ranbir will be seen with Rashoo in Animal.

Even Pooja Hegde has some good Bollywood movies in her kitty with big stars like Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh. All this indicates that now the B-Town producers are choosing the South Indian actresses over Bollywood divas. It can be because these actresses already have a big following in the South and now Bollywood producers also want to promote their cinema in the South.

Another reason can be that these South Indian actresses are thorough professionals and offer versatility in pairing as now the audience is bored with the same SRK-Katrina/Anushka or Salman-Katrina/Jacqueline pairings.
