Samantha Ruth Prabhu is once again at cross-roads where she has to pick up the pieces and start living a new life that is without Naga Chaitanya - her husband of 4 years. Theirs was a fairy tale wedding. From living together for a couple of years to tying the knot in lavish ceremony both in Hindu and Christian style, until just a few months ago, Sam and Naga were considered the topmost power couple in Tollywood.
For Samantha who had to endure a toxic relationship in the past, this decision might have been pretty difficult. Most of the fans of the Oh Baby actress are well aware of her painful past when she was in a relationship with another Southern star Sidharth. The two hit right from the moment they met on the sets of the Tollywood flick Jabardasth. They were in a relationship for around two and a half years and it is believed that Sam was even thinking of marrying Sidharth at that time.
Despite being madly in love, the two started facing a series of issues. While Sid was rumoured to be cheating on Sam with Kannada actress Deepa Sannidhi and helping her get movies, Samantha’s glamourous getups and free behaviour did not go down well with the Rang De Basanti actor. It was a very painful breakup for Samantha who reportedly left Sidharth as she was tired of his womanizing nature.
Immediately after that, the dating rumours of Naga Chaitanya and Sam started making rounds, and later on, both of them confirmed their relationship. All through these breakups and relationships, one thing that has never let her down is her career.
She kept on delivering big hits and achieving new milestones, receiving awards and bagging reputed endorsements.
Even in the last couple of months when her marriage with Naga Chaitanya was going downhill, Samantha attracted a lot of attention and appreciation for her role as Raji in The Family Man Season 2, her first Hindi venture. So hers has been a tale of both success and pain in which her work has given her recognition, financial stability, and success, whereas her relationships have left her with bittersweet memories in the end.
