Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha took a hiatus from acting to focus on her myositis treatment and healing. Before her break, Samantha wrapped up filming for 'Citadel,' the Indian spin-off of the Amazon Prime Video spy thriller series. Directed by 'The Family Man' duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the series features Varun Dhawan as the male lead and is slated for an early 2024 release.
