Samantha Ruth Prabhu's recent Instagram post has set tongues wagging as fans spotted her 'Chay' tattoo, dedicated to her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya, still intact. The actress, who parted ways with the actor in 2021, had previously hinted at moving on when she shared photos without the tattoo. However, her latest post has once again sparked rumours of a possible patch-up.
In her recent Instagram collage, Samantha showcased her style in various pictures, and in one of them, she proudly displayed the tattoo near her rib area bearing Chaitanya's nickname, 'Chay.'
Fans were pleasantly surprised to see that the tattoo remained untouched, despite earlier speculation of its removal.
Last month, Naga Chaitanya himself fuelled rumours of a reconciliation when he posted a picture of their pet dog, Hash. In the photo, Hash sat on Chaitanya's lap in the car, watching the sunset, accompanied by the caption, "Vibe."
However, sources close to the couple have clarified that Samantha and Chaitanya's recent interactions, including sharing their pet, should not be interpreted as a sign of reconciliation.
According to Hindustan Times, they have both moved forward in their lives and are co-parenting their pet dog, Hash. The source explained that they are emotionally attached to the dog and are currently sharing custody, with Hash spending time with Naga Chaitanya while Samantha travels globally.
Samantha and Chaitanya, who tied the knot in 2017, announced their divorce in 2021. Following their separation, Naga Chaitanya was linked to actress Sobhita Dhulipala, though neither party has officially confirmed or denied the rumours.
