Samantha Ruth Prabhu's old video goes viral, fans in shock

One of the most prominent actresses in the Indian entertainment industry, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently trending on social media. Rather, an old video featuring the actress in her younger years has caught the attention of her fans, who could not help but express their disbelief.

Surfacing on social media sites, a clip features a young Samantha in a beauty product commercial. Wearing a series of bright yellow and lavender traditional, she can be seen delivering a range of expressions.

Furthermore, with quick transitions and close-up shots of her face, the video also had her imitate short, classical dance poses.

Not long after the video was live on an Instagram page, several fans and entertainment enthusiasts were left in shock. The reason behind it was the actress' appearance. She was almost unrecognizable. Many pointed out that her looks, acting style, expressions, and even face structure seemed extremely different from her current avatar.

The comments section, thus, quickly flooded with confused and stunned fans narrating their surprise. “Why is she giving such creepy expressions?” wrote an Instagram user, puzzled by the massive difference in her current and past acting skills. Additionally, others continued with, “Yeh Samantha hain?!” and “I totally didn’t recognise her”.

Surprisingly, many also believed that younger Samantha resembled another famed actress, Rashmika Mandanna. “She looks like Rashmika,” “I thought of Rashmika first,” and “Someone please confirm if this is Rashmika or Samantha?” appeared in the comments.

Finally, a few users also noted that the difference could be due to alleged surgeries. Regardless, several ardent fans of the actress expressed their love and support with, “She always looked beautiful!” and “The signs of early talent”.
