Samantha Ruth Prabhu celebrates 14 years of 'Ye Maaya Chesave’

Ye Maaya Chesave, the timeless romantic drama, starring Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Samantha Ruth Prabh continue to enchant audiences over a decade after its release. 

As the film completed 14 year on February 25, Samantha took to her Instagram stories to celebrate it and mark 14 years in the film industry with two posts.

In the first post, Sam can be seen acting cute with her facial expressions, marveling at ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ completing 14 years since its release. She added the AR Rahman’s song ‘Ee Hridayam’ from the movie. She captioned the video, “14 years already, whaaaaa”.

The next post showed a screenshot of trending Twitter hashtags, among which #14yearsofsamanthalegacy is featured.

 She wrote, “Could have been a little more subtle but what the heck... I love you mostest”. 

Notably, 'Ye Maaya Chesave,' released in 2010 gained the status of a classic with its story. The film also introduced many to the beauty of South Indian cinema. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's chemistry in the movie was loved by movie lovers.

Nayanthara took to her Instagram story and shared a picture of Samantha to say, “Congratulations on 14 years, Sam! More power to you. To which, Samantha replied: “Thank you my beautiful Nayanthara.”

On the work front, Samantha was last seen in Khusi opposite Vijay Deverakonda She will next be seen in the Indian spin-off of the American TV series 'Citadel'. It also stars Varun Dhawan, Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon and Saqib Saleem.
