Putting all speculations to rest, Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya finally announced their separation on Saturday. Taking to their respective social media handles, Sam and Chay shared the heartbreaking news to the world.

Samantha wrote: “After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on”.

According to the report of a leading news portal, Samantha was offered alimony of Rs 200 crore as a part of the marriage settlement by Naga Chaitanya's family. However, Sam refused to take a single penny for ending her relationship.

According to HT, "Samantha was offered over Rs 200 crores as a part of the marriage settlement but she doesn’t even want a single penny for ending her relationship."

The report further stated, “Samantha, who is heartbroken and distraught, only needed love and companionship from this marriage and now that it is over, she doesn’t need anything else from it.”

Meanwhile, Nagarunja has opened up on Sam-Chay separation. Taking to social media, Nagarujna penned a sweet note for Samantha.

"With a heavy heart let me say this! Whatever happened between Sam and Chay is very unfortunate. What happens between a wife and husband is very personal. Sam and Chay are both dear to me. My family will always cherish the moments spent with Sam and she will always be dear to us. May God bless them both," the superstar wrote.

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is in news for her participation in Bigg Boss 15, has finally released a statement to end the speculations. Taking to her Instagram handle, Rhea shared a statement on her Insta stories shutting down all the rumours.

“I believe there are rumours about me being a part of the TV show Bigg Boss, this is just to clarify that there is no truth to these rumours. I am not a part of Bigg Boss," read the statement.

Rumours were rife that the show offered Rhea Rs 35 lakh per week, the highest fee offered to a contestant, on Salman Khan's show but she refused.

Notably, Rhea has been at the centre of a media outrage following her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
