Samantha in NYC for a special reason; to have big announcements post Citadel release in 2024

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently in the city of New York. A day ago she led the 41st India Day Parade in the city along with Jacqueline Fernandez. The two Indian actors shared the stage with spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. She started her address with “Jai Hind” and thanked the US audience for supporting her earlier releases and also invited them to watch Kushi.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was also seen strolling on the roads of NYC waving at the crowd. Though the parade is now over, the actress is not returning to India soon and has plans to extend her stay in the US for some more time. And the reason is that The Family Man actress wants to get treatment for her autoimmune disease Myositis.

The Tollywood actress is keen to come back to work soon but right now her health is her top priority as she has been battling this particular disease for a long time now. After the debacle of her last release Shakuntalaam many had written her off but she has shown immense courage and faith in her ability to bounce back.

She will be next seen with Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi scheduled to release on 1 September, 2023. Her other big release will be Citadel, a web series made with international collaboration. It is considered to be a prequel to the Citadel version of Priyanka Chopra Jonas released earlier.

Apart from Citadel, reportedly, there are going to be some big announcements related to the new projects of Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2024. And that is why now she is giving a good amount of time to overcome all her health issues so that she can start afresh with renewed energy and ambition next year.
