Having last graced the screen in the romantic drama 'Kushi' alongside Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha took a hiatus from acting post the film's success to focus on her myositis treatment and healing. Her travel escapades now dominate her time, offering glimpses into her adventurous pursuits.

Before her break, Samantha wrapped up filming for 'Citadel,' the Indian spin-off of the Amazon Prime Video spy thriller series. 

Directed by 'The Family Man' duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the series features Varun Dhawan as the male lead, which is slated for an early 2024 release.
