South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is battling myositis, was recently seen getting troubled by the continuous flash of the cameras when photographers started clicking her pictures. A sea of paparazzi began clicking her pictures making her uncomfortable.

Samantha who is struggling with an autoimmune condition felt some kind of discomfort and requested the photographers to shut down the flash. A video of the whole incident has spread outrage among her fans who slammed the paparazzi for their conduct.

The incident occurred while the actress was in Mumbai for the 3D trailer launch of her upcoming movie ‘Shaakuntalam’. As she steps out of the venue, a sea of photographers surround her and start clicking her pictures, making her uncomfortable.

She tried her best to cover her face with her hands to avoid the flash. However, the stunning diva tried to put up a smiling face and obliged for pictures. Fans took to the comment section to brutally slam the photographers for not being considerate of the actress who has just been released from the hospital.

“She has Myositis. Autoimmune disease… light affects her eyes... really sad,” wrote a fan.

Another fan commented, “And you’re not talking about the awkwardness she’s feeling because of the lights that affect her eyes.”

“Why can’t they understand, she has a problem and those flashes are hurting her eyes,” wrote another fan.

“This is the reason celebrities wear glasses even at night because flashes harm their eyes,” commented another user.

On the professional front, Samantha's Shaakuntalam is based on the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant. Apart from Samantha, ‘Sufiyum Sujatayum’ fame actor Dev Mohan will be seen in a pivotal role in the movie that is set to hit the theatres on April 14.
