Samantha Akkineni Responds To Rumours About Her Shift To Mumbai

Actress Samantha Akkineni took to social media on Wednesday and interacted with fans while rubbishing rumours of shifting her base to Mumbai from Hyderabad.

While the actress did not open up about rumours on her marital discord with Naga Chaitanya, she did address other ones.

One of her fans asked, “Are you really shifting to Mumbai?” To which she replied, “I don’t know where this rumour started but just like a hundred other rumours, it is also not true. Hyderabad is my home, will always be my home. Hyderabad is giving me everything and I will continue to live here very (happily).”

The actress did the Q&A which was shared by the Instagram handle of Hyderabad Times marking the occasion of the first anniversary of her clothing line.

Social media is agog with the news about Samantha’s divorce from Naga Chaitanya irrespective of the fact that neither Naga nor the 'Oh Baby' actress has ever said anything about it.

While the rumours first triggered when Sam dropped Akkineni from her name on social media platforms, she has not given any other indication that the couple has separated or is heading towards divorce. But she has not been sighted with Naga Chaitanya for a long time. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was also not a part of the birthday celebrations of Nagarjuna.

Recent reports, as published by the Entertainment Times, stated that Naga Chaitanya has moved out of home and is living with his parents Nagarjuna and Amala even though the couple hasn’t confirmed or denied the rumours of their separation. They also stated that given Samantha’s fame in the North with a recent web-series, she’s looking for a home in Mumbai to shift from Hyderabad and concentrate on Bollywood projects. However, Samantha shut down the rumours with a single video, stating that Tollywood and Kollywood projects are her priority right now.
