Samantha, Akkineni Brothers' Clash At Box Office: Here's What You Should Know

Samantha Akkineni’s upcoming movie Yashoda has now got a release date. The movie will release on the 12th of August this year which has triggered a lot of speculation and discussions among the fans. Post her separation from Naga Chaitanya, the Tollywood actress has signed multiple projects including her Bollywood debut movie with Varun Dhawan.

Incidentally, Naga Chaitanya is also making his Bollywood debut this year with Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha which is slated to release on the 11th of August. So, the dates of Yashoda and Lal Singh Chaddha are going to clash. While Yashoda is an out-and-out Tollywood flick, Aamir’s movie will have a pan India release. Even then the distributors are hoping that Naga Chaitanya’s presence will help Lal Singh Chaddha get a good opening in the Southern belt.

And this is where; Yashoda will clash with Naga’s film. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a superstar in Tollywood and hence, Yashoda will surely give a tough fight to Naga Chaitanya’s movie. And that is not all! Akhil Akkineni-led Agent is also slated to release on the 12th of August, just a day after Lal Singh Chaddha, and on the day Yashoda will also release.

So, it seems despite going separate ways, the destiny of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and the Akkineni family is going to cross paths once again, albeit commercially.
