Aamir Khan and Salman Khan
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, one of Bollywood’s most versatile performers, recently shared his insights on working with two of the industry’s biggest icons, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, the Hera Pheri star spoke about their contrasting approaches to acting, praising both for their unique styles.
Having worked alongside both stars in the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna, Paresh Rawal drew a striking comparison between the two. He described Salman Khan as a natural who relies on instinct. “Salman understands a scene on a gut level. He’s such a charming fellow. On screen, he’s magic. He doesn’t have to work too hard; he just flows with it,” Rawal explained.
On the other hand, Aamir Khan’s process is meticulous and research-driven. “Aamir works around his character, going into depth and detail. That’s why he takes more time while shooting,” he added. Rawal poetically summed it up: “Salman is hawa ka jhoka (a breeze), you don’t realise when he arrives and sweeps everything away.”
Fans of the beloved Hera Pheri series have more reason to celebrate. Paresh Rawal is set to reprise his iconic role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in Hera Pheri 3, reuniting with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is expected to go into production in 2026.
With decades of experience and collaborations with Bollywood’s finest, Paresh Rawal’s observations offer a rare glimpse into the working styles of two superstars who continue to define Indian cinema in their own unique ways.
