Salman Khan's Tiger 3 struggles to match SRK's Jawan and Pathaan advance booking record

The advance booking for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 opened on November 5. In the last four days, the movie has managed to get a very good response and has now sold more than 90,000 tickets. As compared to any average movie, it is certainly a very huge response.

However, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan both have set such a huge target that in comparison to their records any other movie is bound to fall short.

Despite Tiger being such a blockbuster franchise and represented by superstar lead pair Kats and Salman the threequel is finding it difficult to match the pace for advance booking set by Pathaan and Jawan.

While Pathaan had completed advance booking for 1.40 lakh tickets in the first 24 hours, Jawan also received a tremendous response and sold 1.17 lakh tickets in just one day.

Comparatively, Tiger 3 seems to be lagging much behind as it is yet to touch 1 lakh ticket sales even after 4 days. Speculations are adrift that YRF was not sure of Bajrangi Bhaijan’s stardom anymore and hence roped in Hrithik Roshan as Kabir from War for a cameo.

Shah Rukh Khan is already making a cameo as Pathaan as now both War and Pathaan are a part of Spy Universe that started with Ek Tha Tiger.

For the Tubelight actor, Tiger 3’s success is very important as for the first time in many years his stardom is at stake. His last few movies have been criticised heavily for lack of good and entertaining content.

Apart from Tiger 3, Salman Khan has also signed an action-thriller with Dharma Productions which will be directed by Shershaah-fame director Vishnuvardhan. He will also star in Tiger Vs Pathaan movie which will star both Salman and Shah Rukh Khan and is expected to be full of action, and stunts.
