Manike Mage Hithe fame Yohani Diloka De Silva or popular as Yohani is currently on the zenith of success. After Manike Mage Hithe, Yohani now is being recognised across the world after celebrities were seen sharing reels of the song without even understanding a word of the lyrics.
After the craze for Manike Mage Hithe spread like a wildfire, the singer was invited to India for performing at Studio XO in Gurugram on September 30 and Heart Cup Coffee, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on October 3.
Following that, she was invited to 'Bigg Boss 15' hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Yohani was a guest on the show as a part of 'Navratri Special' during the first 'Weekend Ka Vaar'.
A few days back, Colors TV on its official Instagram page shared a promo video from the special episode. The 28-year-old singer is seen singing Manike Maghe Hithe's cover track in the video. Meanwhile, Salman joins her and sings along. Sallu bhai is seen struggling while pronouncing a few words of the Sinhala song's lyrics. After the Dabangg actor miserably fails in pronouncing the words, both Salman and Yohani burst out into a laughter.
While sharing the stage, Yohani asked Salman if he wanted to sing with her. Then she started the song while the Race 3 actor followed her.
Manike Mage Hithe Muddle Nura Hangum Yawi Sihiwewi,
Ma Hitha Langama Dawatena
Ruwa Nari Manahari Sukumali Numba Thama
Though Salman pronounced few of the words easily, some words were quite tough and he just stumbled with those and even while pronouncing Sihiwewi, he said Sridevi.
Yohani was quite excited for being on the show. She said, "It was a big experience and of course meeting Salman Khan was just amazing."
Talking about Salman and her memorable moments with the actor, Yohani said, "There are two. First when I taught him 'Manike Mage Hithe' and second, when I asked him if he would sing the song and he said why not I will sing a few lines."
Salman has till date lent his voice for different songs which include ‘Main hoon hero tera’ in Hero (2015), Hangover from Kick (2014) and Baby ko Bass pasand hai in Sultan (2016). Though all these songs went on to become superhits, music lovers give credit to the advanced technology through which Salman's voice was auto-tuned to meet the requirements. As they say, people know about Salman's voice and his brilliance in singing.
