Salman Khan owns up to his bad attitude of not giving respect to police on Bigg Boss 18, fans touched by gesture
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan cited a few examples from his own life after he was unimpressed by Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal's behaviour inside the house recently. Recalling a few incidents of Rajat's bad behaviour and threatening other contestants in the house, Salman asked him to change his attitude while talking to the contestants inside the house. Well, Sallu cited one of the most unpopular incidents when he didn't give respect to police officers. Fans seem to be quite impressed after he owned up to his bad attitude on the show.
During the episode, when Rajat said that it had become his habit to keep his legs on the table while sitting, Salman immediately cited the example.
He said, "Yes, I also have that habit. If you have noticed old clips of mine from years ago, it shows Salman Khan at the police station and look how disrespectfully he is sitting there. But I had no involvement there so why will I look scared? But, when the official arrives with the senior, who has his badge… to stand up and give him the respect…"
Further, he added, "So when I myself look at those clippings where I am sitting that way that I do not feel good about it. ‘What was I doing there like this?’ Now I have a way of walking. I cannot change that. It seems as if I am vain, arrogant. No! I come in front of you and talk in that voice. My voice is stronger than yours. But the choice is that I do not speak like that.”
Well, in the old video clip, Salman is seen sitting on a chair in a police station with his knees touching the table. He had kept one leg on the other and sat in a carefree way. He also is seen looking at the people around him.
This gesture of Salman Khan and owning up to his past mistakes has won the hearts of netizens.
One user wrote, "Every time this man accepted his faults/mistakes… Such a pure soul.” (sic)
"He is a real true-hearted person,” wrote another. (sic)
A third user wrote, "It takes a real man to own up to his mistakes and grow from them. Gotta say, today’s Weekend Ka Vaar was the best of the season—loved how Salman explained things to the contestants!” (sic)
On the work front, Salman will be next seen in Sikandar, helmed by AR Murugadoss. For the first time, Sallu will be seen with Rashmika Mandanna.
