Salman Khan locks dates for Tiger vs Pathaan and more movies! Deets inside

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s last release ‘Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan’ might not have impressed a large section of audience, but anticipation for his upcoming Tiger 3 shows off the stardom he enjoys. Now, all eyes are on Tiger 3, also starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi along with Shah Rukh Khan’s extended cameo as Pathaan.

While Tiger 3 is tentatively scheduled for theatrical release on November 10, Sallu has several other movies in the pipeline that fans have been counting the days for.

Untitled action-thriller with Vishnuvardhan

A recent report in Pinkvilla suggests that the Dabangg actor has locked the dates for his upcoming movies including director Vishnuvardhan’s next action-thriller with Karan Johar as the producer.

The portal quoted a source close to the development as saying that Salman has already started preparations for Vishnuvardhan’s next and has plans to take the movie on floors by mid-November. 

The close source was quoted as saying, “Salman plays a paramilitary officer in Vishnuvardhan’s next film and has already gotten into the prep mode for the film. He will be sporting a certain look in the film, which also requires him to lose some weight, and its all work in progress at the moment.”

The yet-to-be-titled movie will be shot in multiple schedules with a release target of Christmas 2024 weekend. 
Further, the source added, “The first schedule will be around a month-long from mid-November to mid-December, following which Salman would take his year-end break. He returns to the sets by January 10 for another 30 to 45-day schedule before calling it a break on the film.”

Tiger vs Pathaan

According to the source, Salman will commence working on Tiger vs Pathaan, touted as the biggest Hindi action flick, in March/April 2024. Shooting of the highly anticipated movie with the two biggest Indian actors, Salman and Shah Rukh, is planned for wrap-up by the end of May.

“The filming for Tiger vs Pathaan begins in summer with combinations of both SRK and Salman,” the source added.

However, if there is a delay in the shoot of Tiger vs Pathaan from the planned date, Sallu will complete Karan’s film by summer and then dive for his next.

Prem Ki Shaadi

Spilling the beans on Salman’s other project with Sooraj Barjatya, the source revealed, “On wrapping up the two heavy-on action films, Salman will get into exploring his softer side with Sooraj Barjatya. The film is locked and will go on floors by the end of 2024/early 2025. It’s tentatively titled Prem Ki Shaadi and will be a family drama in the zone of the classics that SK and Sooraj Barjatya have made over the years. Sooraj will get into the casting of the film by the end of this year.”

If the reports are anything to go by, Salman has several offers from Hindi filmmakers as well as Tamil and Telugu. However, Sallu is taking his time to lock the line-up.
