  • Salman Khan during an interview opened up about nepotism.
  • He indirectly took a dig at Kangana Ranaut during the press meet.

Salman Khan has been often trolled for supporting star kids and launching them on the silver screen. But, the superstar has rarely talked about nepotism and his role. However, recently during a press meet the Dabangg actor got candid about nepotism in Bollywood and also indirectly roasted Kangana Ranaut.

In reply to a question from the host, Sallu Bhai said that he finally understood the meaning of nepotism after Kangana started talking about it.

When the interviewer asked him whether he tried to take forward kids from influential families or the ones with talent after he himself became a big star Salman Khan said, “I believe ki jo successful aadmi hota hai woh talent management company ko kam deta hai. Management cannot get a successful company to work. But a management company can get those people, haath pair jodke, business assistant hoke. Those who are not doing that well for themselves, unko kam lake de sakta hai. But it only depends on how hard-working, and how much focused that management company is.”

The superstar added that more often these talent management companies want to sign those stars who are successful but at the same time they need to focus on those with potential but who are seeing a bad run for whatever reason. The Kick actor said that opportunity should be given to those with good talent.

Salman Khan has launched several star kids including Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Ahan Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, and many other strugglers including Zareen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, and over the years has been significant support for Katrina Kaif.

However, currently, Bollywood is going through a huge crisis with back-to-back big movies not performing well at the box office. Even Salman is also going through a bad phase with a few of his last releases recieving flak from social media users.
