Salman Khan chose Pakistani artists over Indian to show his loyalty towards Pakistan: Abhijeet

Playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has given several hit numbers like 'Chunnari Chunnari' from Biwi No.1, 'Badi Mushkil Hai' from Anjaam, 'Dhoom Taana' from Om Shanti Om. He is best remembered for his songs sung for superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The duo's musical partnership has been truly iconic.

Meanwhile, Bhattacharya has opened up about superstar Salman Khan deliberately choosing Pakistani singers over Indian singers. The versatile singer has accused the 'Sultan' of Bollywood of giving more preference to Pakistani singers and actors.

During an interview, Bhattacharya said, "Salman Khan deliberately chose Pakistani artists just to show his loyalty towards the enemy nation. I don't even hate him, but he is not even worth hating. He doesn't deserve even to be hated by me. Just to show his loyalty towards Pakistan, he dropped songs of top Indian singers and instead promotes Pakistani singers."

The serious allegations against Salman Khan by Bhattacharya came in the wake of Salman Khan replacing Arijit Singh with veteran singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. There were reports that Salman chose Rahat over Arijit. However, recently Salman and Arijit called off their feud and the latter lent his voice for 'Tiger 3'.

This isn't the first time, Bhattacharya has slammed Salman Khan. He had earlier launched a scathing attack at superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

In 2016, he had lashed out at the Khans, Karan Johar, and Bhatts for employing Pakistani singers and actors such as Fawad Khan, Mawra Hocane, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Ghulam Ali in their films after the Uri terrorist attack. He even went on to call them 'anti-nationals' and insisted that they should be taught a lesson.
