Salman Khan's cameo: From Varun Dhawan's Baby John to Rohit Shetty's 'discussion' for Chulbul Pandey, know details

The craze for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is quite evident from the box office collections of his movies. Even though his films fail to impress the audience, those rake in moolah. Apart from that his brief appearance in any movie can elevate the craze. Be it Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Pathaan, Salman's cameo appearance undeniably delighted moviegoers. Now, the actor will be seen in a cameo in Varun Dhawan's Baby John as his mentor. Moreover, reports were circulating about Salman's cameo in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again in his iconic cop avatar Chulbul Pandey.

Salman as Varun's mentor in Baby John!

Salman Khan had a cameo appearance in the remake of Judwa, starring Varun Dhawan in the lead. Now, reports are abuzz that Sallu will have a cameo in Varun's upcoming Baby John. While film trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the same, the latest report suggests that Salman will be playing a cop in the film. 

If the reports are anything to go by, Salman will have a significant part in helping Varun's character during tough times in Baby John. Moreover, with Sallu's character, the narrative of the movie will take a meaningful turn. 

A report in Mid-Day claims that Salman will also have a few action sequences in the movie as Atlee and director Kalees is known for his swag and action roles. The superstar will also have a rocking entry as a swashbuckling cop. He may also have some sassy dialogues in the movie.

A source was quoted by the portal as saying, "Salman’s cop is shown as something of a mentor to the protagonist. He will show faith in Varun’s character and bring him back to the police force. Over two days, Salman will film his introduction scene and some action set pieces. Kalees and writer Sumit Arora are pulling no punches to make sure that his cameo will be a treat for his fans."

Produced by Jawan director Atlee, Baby John is a remake of the Tamil film Theri. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on December 25. The makers have already dropped a few posters and promos of the action entertainer.

Rohit Shetty visits 'Sikandar' on set to discuss Chulbul Pandey's cameo in Singham Again!

Recently, reports were abuzz that Salman Khan will have a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. While the hype around the movie remains quite high for its stellar star cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, the reports of Salman's cameo sent fans into a frenzy.

Recently, Rohit Shetty visited Salman Khan on Sikandar's set. Industry insiders suggest that Rohit wanted to clear the air regarding the recent rumours of Sallu's special appearance in Singham Again.

Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, "There has been a lot of talk about Salman's involvement in the third edition of Singham. Rohit's visit was a friendly one, but many speculate it was also to address these baseless rumours directly with Salman. He came in a little after 9 pm and stayed for half an hour."

Well, as the actor and filmmaker have long been fond of each other, they can meet anytime. There is certainly no reason to assume that they are working together.
