Rebel star Prabhas is back with a bang. After three back-to-back heartbreaking debacles of Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush, the ‘Darling’ is back to reclaim his stardom. With Rs 175-180 crore opening day global collection, he has proved that he is the ‘Baahubali’ of the box office.

His latest release ‘Salaar’ has made a monstrous start and is shattering all the existing records. The Prashanth Neel directorial has beaten the opening day collections of SRK’s Pathaan and Jawan and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’. While Salaar has collected Rs 95 crore in India, Jawan had collected Rs 75 crore on the first day, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ collected Rs 63 crore and SRK’s Pathaan earned Rs 57 crore.

Although Salaar did not meet the expectations of fans like Prashanth Neel’s previous films KGF: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, the mass action movie is getting good response as compared to SRK’s Dunki. The movie has emerged as the winner in the clash this Christmas.

Now, the film’s lead actress Shruti Haasan has given the entire credit of the movie’s success to director Prashanth Neel. Appearing in a show, Shruti stated that it is not Prabhas or she who should take the credit, but the credit goes to Prashanth Neel for his vision.

“I’m sure Prabhas will also agree with me, everything starts and begins with the vision, that is Prashanth Sir,” Shruti stated.

She also shared her experience of working with Prabhas and lovingly called him ‘DAWATH’.

“He called me and I said there were only 4 people in the shooting set. However, he sent food for 400 people. That is Prabhas. He is so caring person. I call him DAWATH,” she added.

Meanwhile, the positive word of mouth from fans is benefitting Salaar as compared to Dunki. Prabhas fans are finally super happy that their favourite star is receiving all the love that he deserves, especially after the poor performance of Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush.
