After wreaking havoc at the box office, Rebel star Prabhas’ magnum opus Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is now all set to release on the OTT platform. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film to be released online so that they can watch it wherever and whenever they want.

Well, in what comes as good news for all the fans, the high-octane action drama is all set to release on Netflix. Without making the fans wait anymore, Netflix has decided to release the film soon. The online streaming giant bought the rights to Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's film for a record-breaking Rs 160 crore.

“The people of Khansaar can begin their celebrations. Their Salaar has returned to his kingdom.👑 #Salaar is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as a post-theatrical release!” Netflix India South tweeted.

Although Salaar’s OTT release date is yet to be formally announced, it is expected to be released on Netflix on Republic Day.

Meanwhile, Salaar has reportedly collected a whopping Rs 725 crore worldwide, making it one of the biggest hits of Prabhas’ career. The ‘Baahubali’ star who was lying low after three back-to-back flops like Radhe Shyam, Saaho, and Adipurush, has finally resurrected his career with Salaar.

The movie has turned into a blockbuster just behind Baahubali Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Now, Prabhas aims to breach the Rs 3000-crore club with his upcoming mythological science fiction ‘Kalki’ that is scheduled to release in May.

Apart from Kalki, Prabhas also has several high-budget movies lined up such as The Raja Saab (a romantic horror comedy), Salaar 2 with Prashanth Neel, and Spirit with Animal-fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
