Rebel star Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has created a sensation at the box office. The high-octane action-drama seems unstoppable at the box office and fans cannot wait for Salaar 2. Now, Vijay Kiragandur, the producer of Hombale Films, has hinted at Salaar 2's release in theatres by the end of 2025. 

He revealed that the story of Salaar 2 is as humongous as Baahubali 2 and is good to get the cameras rolling. He also promised to deliver a cinematic experience like never before and emphasised that the sequel would be an extravagant feast filled with action, drama, and politics. The film promises a roller-coaster ride for the viewers with anticipated cliffhangers.

Prabhas is super excited for Part 2 and cannot wait for the shoot to begin. He thanked his fans and said, “I’m deeply grateful and humbled by the immense love and support given by the audience. Witnessing Salaar’s fantastic run at the box office has been nothing but an incredible reward for me and my entire team.”

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Salaar 2 will throw light on the characters of Prabhas and Prithviraj who are the world’s best friends but turn into the world’s biggest enemies. The plot will concentrate on their complex friendship and the outcome of their rivalry.

From Salaar Part 1, it is known that Prabhas is the actual king of Khansaar. However, he has promised to give the throne to his friend Prithviraj. So, it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for Prabhas in the film.

Meanwhile, Salaar has marked the return of Prabhas after his last three movies Saaho, Adipurush, and Radhe Shyam turned out to be duds at the box office. The film is likely to enter the Rs 1000-crore club globally in another couple of weeks.
