Rupali Ganguli is psychotic, claims daughter; Anupamaa star's husband opens up

Anupmaa fame Rupali Ganguly has been trending on the internet recently both for her personal and professional life. While Rupali has been in news for alleged role behind her Anupamaa co-stars decisions to leave the show. Now her step-daughter Esha Verma has come forward and blamed her for her parents’ separation.

Esha accused the actress of having an extra-marital affair with her father, Ashwin K Verma, while he was still married to her mother. She also alleged that Rupali drew a wedge between her and her father and allegedly threatened her to stay away from her family. 

She further alleged that Rupali promotes values through her character Anupamaa that she reportedly disregards them in her personal life. She also called Rupali ‘“controlling and psychotic.”

Following Esha shocking allegations, Rupali’s husband Ashwin has come forward and opened up about it while defending Rupali.

Sharing a long note on X (formerly Twitter), Ashwin acknowledge that his younger daughter is affected by the separation of her parents however the separation has nothing to do with Rupali. 

Ashwin wrote, “I do have two daughters from previous relationships, something Rupali and I have always been open about that I care a great deal about. I understand that my younger daughter still holds a lot of hurt about the dissolution of her parent's relationship, as divorce is a difficult experience that can greatly affect and harm the children of that marriage. But marriages end for many reasons, and my relationship with my second wife had multiple challenges that led to our separation—challenges that were between she and I and that had nothing to do with any other person. I only want the best for my children and my wife and it saddens me to see anyone being pulled into cycles of negativity by the media.”

For the unversed, Ashwin and Rupali got married in 2013 after dating each other for a while. Together they have a son, Rudransh.
