RRR movie starring Young Tiger Jr NTR, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in the lead, and Ajay Devgn in a prominent role is roaring successfully in theatres across India as well as overseas. The movie has smashed all records of Indian Cinema till date after overtaking the day one collection of Baahubali 2 from the same director SS Rajamouli. Considering the current spree, RRR movie has become India's biggest blockbuster and the No1 opener as well.

With a worldwide gross collection of Rs 223 Crore on day one, the movie has garnered high appreciation from all around the world.

While the Box Office collection in Andhra Pradesh was 75 Cr, the total collection in Karnataka was Rs 14.5 Cr and in Tamil Nadu the movie collected Rs 10 Cr. On the other hand, the total collection across India was Rs 156 Cr and, of it, Rs 25 Cr was from North India. Similarly, the collection in US was Rs 42 Cr which added on to the total figure of Rs 223 crore.

Though it is obvious about the movie's performance in Andhra Pradesh and other southern states, the remarkable opening in northern states was shattering. Before the huge success of Baahubali franchise, the director from the south has multiple times given blockbusters including Chatrapathi and Magadheera. Following the massive success of Baahubali franchise, movie lovers had high hopes from the director. And, Rajamouli has met their expectations with RRR which certainly is obvious from the opening collection and the spree continues on day 2 as well.
