Ever imagined waking up before sunrise to watch a movie? It may sound like a herculean task for many but nothing seems to be impossible, especially for the movie buffs in Bhubaneswar.

Fans were seen in long queues outside theatres on Sunday to watch ‘RRR’ movie featuring two of the biggest stars of the Telugu industry- Jr NTR and Ram Charan. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles.

Such is the craze of Jr NTR and Ram Charan that RRR is now drawing a large number of fans to the theatres in the capital city. Movie lovers were seen standing in long queues since 4 am to watch the first show of the movie at 5 am today. Usually, such scenes are not witnessed before theatres in Bhubaneswar.

“It is for the first time that I woke up early to watch the 5 am show of any movie. I had booked my tickets on March 22 and being Jr NTR fan, I was really excited to watch the film,” said a fan.

Another fan said, “I had read a lot about the movie and was waiting since long for its release. Somehow I managed to book the tickets and the movie was superb.”

RRR, which has been made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore, hit the cinema halls on Friday worldwide on a record number of screens. The movie, a fictional story set in the pre-independent era, is based on the lives of two revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively.
