More often, sequels of big franchises fail to create the same impact as the original. However, Baahubali changed that misconception because the second part was more successful than the first one. And it is quite possible that Rajamouli might repeat the same feat now that RRR has once again turned into a big movie like Baahubali.

The movie has once again proved that if the content and presentation are top-notch, even a regional film can become successful across the country. Although Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam failed to create the expected impact, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise was a big hit even in the Northern belt.

Already, there is a lot of hype for Yash’s KGF 2 releasing on the 14th of April. Interestingly, the hype for this sequel is even more than that for movies of big Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan and the time is right for all the big Southern stars to break the barriers and emerge as pan India superstars.
