‘Leo’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj on Friday surprised fans by sharing the first look of his upcoming movie with Thailaivar Rajinikanth. Tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 171, the megastar will be collaborating with Lokesh for the first time.
Taking to his X (formerly known as Twitter), Lokesh shared a glittery first of Rajinikanth and the megastar is looking dashing as always. A young bearded Rajinikanth can be seen wearing a rugged shirt and sunglasses.
However, what caught the attention of fans was Rajinikanth’s ‘handcuffs’ made of watches. Lokesh kept the first look in a monotone only Rajinikanth’s watches and sunglasses in colour. Sharing the first look, Lokesh informed that the title of the film would be revealed on April 22.

Known for LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe), the first poster has sparked rumours of a possible Rolex crossover in the film. For the unversed, Tamil superstar is known as Rolex(in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram).
Curious fans took to the comment section and shared their excitement for the film and posted adorable comments for both Lokesh and Kanagaraj.
