Director Rohit Shetty, known for his cop-centric blockbusters, is set to unleash a wave of entertainment with both his upcoming web series, 'Indian Police Force,' and the much-anticipated 'Singham Again,' starring Ajay Devgn.

However, fans of Shetty's iconic franchise, Golmaal, have another reason to rejoice as he recently shared a promising update on the next instalment.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Shetty confirmed, "Golmaal 5 will happen for sure." Eagerly anticipating the response, he hinted at an accelerated production timeline, stating, "Looking at the response, I will have to make it a little soon. Promising a grand cinematic experience, Shetty acknowledged the evolving landscape of cinema, emphasizing the need for Golmaal 5 to be "bigger and better" than its predecessors. While ruling out the addition of action to the comedy franchise, he expressed the intent to elevate the scale, catering to the vast fanbase.

Interestingly, Shetty revealed a desire to venture beyond his 'cop-verse,' expressing interest in creating a film like 'Chennai Express.'

Meanwhile, gears up for the digital release of 'Indian Police Force' on January 19, marking his digital directorial debut. The series has an ensemble star cast featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, and Mukesh Rishi in key roles.
